Mike Porter

I began my Postal Service career as a mail processing clerk in 1995. Since that time, I have worked as a city carrier, human resource specialist, small business specialist, and a business service network specialist both in the Tennessee District and later in the former Southeast Area office. Since 2010, I have been a government relations representative at Headquarters in Washington, DC. I am the Postal Service liaison for the Representatives and Senators from California, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands. I am a third generation Postal Service employee and also have other family members who are currently working for the Postal Service. Oh yeah, and I’m in a band!
