Celebration Corsage Stamp

Inviting guests for a wedding calls for celebration Forever® stamps

Getting married? Wonder how much it costs to mail a wedding invitation — you’re thinking a stamp is 49 cents, right?

But all wedding invitations are not created equal. Some are larger in size or made with thicker paper stock. There’s also the RSVP card inside plus maybe some special instructions for guests.

The Postal Service has created appropriate postage stamps to envelope all types of invitations and enclosures. This year’s Celebration Corsage and Celebration Boutonniere Forever® stamps are wonderful ways to put that finishing touch on your invitation and return envelopes.

Understanding weight and cost

As far as postage for an invitation, the cost per piece depends on the weight of the stuffed envelope. To determine if your invitation requires the additional postage, it’s best to have them weighed at a Post Office™ location.

Celebration Corsage Stamp

The Celebration Corsage Forever Stamp is appropriate for envelopes (and what’s inside) that weigh up to 2 ounces and is offered at the current rate of 70 cents. This elegant stamp can typically accommodate the weight of heavy invitations for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries; oversized greeting cards for all occasions; and mailings such as for small gifts that require extra postage.

Celebration Boutonniere Stamp

The Celebration Boutonniere stamp is a First-Class Mail® Forever stamp equaling the prevailing First-Class, first ounce rate. It can be used on RSVP envelopes which are often enclosed with wedding invitations. It is also ideal for party invitations, thank-you notes, greeting cards or any other correspondence.

Celebration Forever stamps are an inexpensive way to add color and “accessorize” your correspondence and special event invitations. Other brides and grooms are on the same wavelength in choosing these stamps with comments by excited users on the U.S. Postal Service® Facebook page. #CelebrationStamps
