Roy Betts is a second generation U.S. Postal Service employee. He is a Senior Public Relations Representative in Corporate Communications at USPS headquarters. He is responsible for national media and PR campaigns promoting the Postal Service’s coveted Stamp Program, as well as, Postal Service initiatives to achieve innovation, operational efficiencies and higher levels of customer satisfaction, led by the Chief Information Officer, who oversees Information Technology, Enterprise Analytics and Cybersecurity. Prior to joining the Postal Service, he was a senior public information officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He began his career in journalism as an assistant editor and White House Correspondent for Ebony and Jet magazines. He is a graduate of Howard University School of Communications and a native of Memphis, TN.
